Changes ahead for Michigan Family Camp 2025

Camp Attendees
The number of the Lord’s disciples who want to attend Michigan Family Camp has greatly multiplied to the point we cannot accommodate everyone. Lincoln Lake Camp administration says we cannot have so many guests as we had this past summer in 2024. Also, naturally speaking, Elaine and I struggle physically to continue as we have, and our superlative kitchen volunteers are overstretched as well with the rigors of preparing 8000 plates of food in limited time. Some things need to change.
Camp Options
This brings us to at least three options:
- Cancel Michigan Family Camp
- Reduce capacity
- Split camp into two sessions.
Split Decision
We believe that the Lord would have us go to two sessions with fewer people at each session but a greater total accommodated. The sessions would be shorter. Guests would be welcome to attend either the first session or the second session – not both.
John and Rebecca Whitaker have agreed, Lord willing, to continue their Children’s Ministry for both sessions.
We’ll trust the Lord for the energy for all the volunteer workers to accomplish that which He has given us to do.

- Session 1 – August 9 pm thru August 15 am
- Session 2 – August 15 pm thru August 21 am

We will be using a website to take names this year: https://www.bibleconferenceregistration.com/michigan/
Registration will open at noon (EST) on Monday, April 7. We will send out an invitation prior to this date.
